Hello and welcome to January’s Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop. This month’s theme is Love and with Valentine’s day just around the corner it’s the perfect time. Now I don’t know about you but I’m not big on Valentine’s day, I believe we should celebrate those we love all year round not just one day of the year. But I suppose for us crafters Valentine’s day is a great opportunity to make something special for somebody.

Today I’m sharing a landscape version of a Diagonal Joy Fold card. I’ve used the new Country Bouquet bundle which includes a punch for the cute hearts and leaves. Of course I love punches, they are such an easy tool and so versatile because they can be used with the coordinating stamps or as a stand alone.
I’ve paired the stamps with both of the coordinating papers from the collection – Country Floral Lane and the Country Gingham and embellished with the Pastel Sequins.

COUNTRY Floral Lane Suite

This is a super easy fun fold with not a lot of moving parts. You start with a regular landscape card base (left opening) and cut the front flap diagonally from the top left (alongside the scoreline) to the bottom right. Cut two pieces of DSP (one for this inside) and cut the second piece diagonally from top left to bottom right. After that make a mini card (right side opening) and adhere to the inside of the card with the fold on top to create the Joy Fold.
I used the double heart image and stamped in Sweet Sorbet, Petal Pink and Mint Macaron. Use the punch to cut out the hearts and then adhere on the card front with dimensionals.

I added a couple of extra to the inside of the card and stamped a sentiment in Sweet Sorbet.
