Happy hump day Crafters

Today I’m taking a break from Christmas projects – it’s freaking me out how fast it’s approaching so I’m being an ostrich and burying my head in the sand.
Today’s card uses two of my favourite products from the Annual catalogue, the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper and the Tailor Made Tags.

The bright colours of the Pattern Party DSP always help brighten my mood and what better way to get over hump day than crafting with beautiful colours. I love that the reverse side of this DSP is all black and white patterns, which you can always brighten with a pop of colour. Such versatile paper – and it comes in a pack of 48 sheets of 12″ x 12″ so you’ll never run out of your favourite design!

The Tailor Made Tags are a must have (well in my opinion anyway). Whilst they don’t coordinate with any particular stamp set they coordinate with everything right! They’re great for greetings on your cards, tags for gift giving – arghh there’s the Christmas bell going off in my head again lol, and lots of other treat packaging. I like to layer them together, neutrals with a pop of colour behind.

This card is quite eclectic in that it uses several products from the catalogue rather than the products you might find grouped together in a “suite”. It just shows how well Stampin’ Up! products coordinate.

The card itself was a quick and simple design. I stamped the flower from the Colour & Contour stamp set in Tuxedo Black memento and Flirty Flamingo ink on a Basic White tag and then layered that on top of another tag of Flirty Flamingo. I’ve tucked some pool party wildflowers from the Meadow dies in behind the tag as a point of interest and heat embossed in the greeting on a Granny Apple Green label.

Thanks for stopping by today. Wherever you are in the world stay safe and healthy and I hope to see you here again soon.
Now go get crafty!
