It’s Monday Mail and I’m back to remind you to mail a card today. Today I’m mailing a card (amongst others) to a friend that has been such an inspiration during our recent lockdowns here in Melbourne. She is always trying new things, reaching out to friends and coming up with the most inventive ways to keep her kiddies occupied. I’m so inspired by her positive attitude I wanted to let her know.
Often when I’m creating cards I have lots of leftovers, either extra paper, die cuts or stamped images that didn’t make the cut for that particular project. I pop them all aside and occasionally I try and make a something just with those elements.
Today’s card is one of those projects.
The white die cut is from the Aristic Dies and was left over from my Negative Stencilling tutorial I did a while back (you can see the video on my YouTube channel here). The pink Dahlia and the strip of Be Dazzling glitzy paper was a left over from my Facebook Live a couple of weeks ago where I shared tips on spritzing the FREE Saleabration Be Dazzling Specialty paper.
I love the gorgeous Black and White Beautifully Penned DSP that Stampin’ Up! is offering as a FREE reward during Sale-a-bration. Check it out here. It lends itself beautifully to the addition of a splash of colour.
No card is complete without a bit of bling. The sequins from the Artistry Blooms pack were a perfect match and then I flicked a bit of Wink of Stella as a final touch.
What will you be mailing today?
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you to see you here again soon.
Happy Stamping
