Today’s Saturday Stamping Live over on my Facebook page featured this card using the In the Pines bundle and the gorgeous Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder.

Now I have to admit on my first pass of of the catalogue I totally missed the this embossing folder. How? I don’t know because it is gorgeous! I just can’t believe how stunning it is.

2020 Christmas card using Stampin' Up! In the Pines bundle/stamp set Michelle Grech, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Melbourne Australia

For this card I have embossed a piece of the Feels Like Frost patterned paper, which is a returning fave from last year’s Holiday mini. This paper has beautiful photographic imagery on one side and hand drawn silver foil designs on the other. I’ve used one of the tree designs which works perfectly with the embossing folder. I LOVE how this turned out.

I used the Pine Wood dies from the bundle to cut my trees in Blushing Bride and Whisper White. Not traditional Christmas colours I know but a perfect match for the patterned paper. The reindeer is from the Snow Globe scenes dies in the Annual catalogue and I’ve coloured him using my Gray Granite blend. I like the softer look colouring with the blend gives rather than using the matching cardstock.

I finished off the card with the ‘seasons greetings’ sentiment from the In the Pines stamp set, stamped in Gray Granite ink then fussy cut.
