This week has been super busy.  As well as getting organised for our stand at this weekend’s Picture to Page Papercraft show in Burwood I’ve been busy sorting my retired stock in preparation for my big Clearance Sale in November.

However I did manage to find some snippets of time to complete a card for this week’s Merry Monday Challenge.

Here’s this week’s sketch.  I decided to flip it onto it’s side and use the portrait orientation.

I already had these papers from the Merry Moments Scrappin Kit on my desk from an earlier project and thought they would work beautifully with the sketch.  I stamped my ornament in Cherry Cobbler, embellished the centre with one of the gorgeous die cuts from the kit added some sponging, ribbon and few pearls.  Voila!  It’s a bit hard to tell from this picture but I’ve spritzed the ornament and sentiment with some champagne shimmer mist – yummo.

Merry Monday #35

Once I was done I noticed that the colours were perfect for the Dynamic Duos Challenge this week which are Cherry Cobbler and your choice – Basic Grey for me.  Now I know technically Basic Grey is a neutral but it’s a colour too right? And my neutral here is Very Vanilla.  So I entered it there too.

Happy Stamping
