Today I wanted to share with you the Easter projects made last week by my Stamp Club ladies. Everyone got to choose their own colours and I’m always amazed at how different each one turns out to be. Unfortunately I forgot to photograph their finished projects so you’ll have to be satisfied with the ones I made.
I usually try and design a project “set” and generally include a 3D item. This month we used the gorgeous Everybunny easter set. This set has a great selection of bunnies and is perfect for watercolouring.
The little 3×3 card (actually I think mine ended up being 9 x 9cm) is called a “twisted easel” and is a super easy. It folds flat for posting but adds a quirky feel to what might be an otherwise run of the mill notecard. I used the larger square on the scallop duo die for layering my card front and it co-ordinates well with the scallop oval behind the sentiment. The little rabbit was stamped with black Staz-on and coloured with markers. However I did use my aquabrush (very sparingly) and a Crumb Cake ink pad to add some shading to the bunny’s body.
Now I just need to package up some eggs for the box and I’ll have a cute gift for a special someone this Easter.
Happy Stamping
