Despite having bronchitis for the last week or so I had a wonderful long weekend.  My darling friend (and upline) Kerri and her husband came for the weekend.  We had a great Saturday morning shopping at Pumpkin Patch for Kerri’s grandaughter and my boys.  At one stage I was in the boys section and looked across to the girls section in search of Kerri but all I could see the top of her head behind a pile of clothes.  Boy did we do some damage.  Then we raced home to get ready for team stamping on the Saturday afternoon.

Sunday and Monday were spent stamping, drinking coffee and just generally playing while the guys looked after this kids and watched several episodes of Rescue Me.  They were really wonderful to let us spend so much uninterrupted time together.   It was so much fun I was sad to see them go but really looking forward to the next time.  Who would have thought when I joined Stampin” Up! that we would make such wonderful friends.  It’s just one of the many benefits of being a demonstrator.

While she was here Kerri told me about this great idea she got from one of her customers for decorating ring pull cans.  At first I was skeptical so we  took a trip to the supermarket and bought ring pull cans in lots of different sizes to take home and “experiment”.   Here is a picture of my finished sample.

I decided to fill it with a few small goodies such as an incentive stamp, chipboard, buttons etc.  I would show you show you a photo if I had one  but I got so excited about the finished product that I gave it to my hostess at last night’s workshop and forgot to photograph it first.

Now if you’re curious about how we filled the can then leave me a comment and I’ll tell you how.
